Foxes in Steyning is OFSTED registered and follows the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS) development programme, with a focus on learning through experience.
EYFS sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five years old. It is widely accepted that those children who have benefited from good quality nursery education make better progress in the further stages of their education and adapt more easily to their school career. We work with our parents to tailor make a pre-school experience that works for them and their children.
Foxes children enjoy free choice and independent play. We encourage free flow thoughout, enabling the children to mix with different age groups, adding to the "family feel" of our setting.
Little Foxes Day Nursery cares for babies and toddlers in their dedicated rooms. Little ones usually spend time in the baby room until sometime between their first birthday and 18 months. Toddlers anjoy there own room with direct access to our secure garden until they join our Preschool at around 2 1/2 - 3 years old.
Our dedicated Little Foxes Preschool is the base for children from approx 2 1/2 until they go to school. It is a fantastic space with its own entrance and access to our secure garden.
Foxes Den offers breakfast, after school and holiday clubs for primary school children. Including pick ups and drop offs from local schools.
